/whispers/ JYP~~ from the start I know ‘Bounce’ was made by JYP. Woohoo! Anyways, I found these 2 guys when I watched Dream High 2 and I found them cute! And since both of them born in 94, well hello there chingus!
The song
I didn’t like the song when I heard it for the first time. I mean, it’s weird! From this genre to that genre and etc etc. You know from electro-pop when JR raps —- old gymnastic-ish at the bounce part —— then rock-ish all of a sudden. But since both of them are handsome/cute on that MV, so I decide to replayed the MV. Then I realized this song is quite unique. It’s either JYP wanna show us that JJ Project mastered different genres or maybe he wanna show off his composing skill. I hope both to be honest because I love JYP’s songs especially ‘When I Can’t Sing’.
Music video
I have to admit that the MV REMINDS me a lot of Bang & Zelo’s Never Give Up. I’m not saying JJ Project copying their MV but it’s just that it reminds me of them. Okay I know there are like many MVs out there with school theme but Never Give Up released in 2012 too so maybe that’s why their MV flashed on my mind when I watched Bounce. But afterall, I like the MV because it portrayed the song’s meaning really well. Unlike /cough/ SNSD’s The Boys /cough/ ok first, I’m a SONE and in fact I love all SM artists but the boys mv…where’s the boys? That was just an example because The Boys is the most obvious one hehe
All in all, JJ Project made it through my ‘2012 best rookies’ with B.A.P and EXO. Oh god the awesome rookies are debuted in the same year…money come to me juseyo T_T But I ordered the JJ Project’s album anyways :D So I hope JJ Project will show me /or us/ some improvements on their next project and I will always support them! JJ Project fighting!!
This is just my thought so anyone can disagree with it. I didn’t and never mean to start a fanwar so peace out!
